Company purpose

- Invest in various economic sectors including real estate, industrial, and agricultural among other sectors through its participation in incorporating specialized companies or the acquisition of stock or bonds of those companies.

- Contribute in the establishment, full or partial ownership of companies across various sectors in Kuwait and abroad.

- Carry on all transactions related to trading of securities through the purchase and sale of shares and bonds of local and international companies and government institutions.

- Represent foreign companies with similar objectives in order to market its financial services and products in a way that benefits both parties in line with the relevant Kuwaiti laws and regulations, providing that the Company doesn’t represent foreign banks or financial institution in Kuwait. 

- Provide Islamic financing to third parties taking into consideration financial safety principles while maintaining a sound financial position, in accordance with the rules, conditions and guidelines set forth by Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK).

- Manage the funds of public and private institutions and invest those funds in various sectors, including the management of financial and real estate portfolios.

- Deal and trade in foreign exchange and precious metals on the company’s behalf.

- Carry out various services including underwitting, sukuk, financial, advisory, and portfolio management that aim to develop and strengthen the capacity of the financial and monetary market in Kuwait and meet its various needs, as governed by rules and regulations issued by Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK).

- Carry out restructuring activities, advisory, sale and purchase of assets related to securitization on the Company’s behalf of on behalf of others, providing that the company receives prior regulatory approvals from the Central Bank of Kuwait for the securitization process.

Company profile

Rasameel Investment Company was established on 4 January 2006 as a Closed Kuwaiti Shareholding Company with a capital of KWD 30 million to restructure Islamic companies. Rasameel’s AGM held on Monday, 9 January 2017, approved a resolution to change its name to Rasameel Investment (K.S.C.C). Article (7) of the Company’s Memorandum of Incorporation and Article (5) of its Article of Association, relevant to the Company’s capital, were amended after receiving regulatory approval. The Company’s capital was reduced to KWD 180,026,680 divided into 180,266,800 shares valued at 100 filsper share, all of which are cash shares.

Future Plans:
