Company profile

Kout Food Group K.P.S.C., also known as Kout Food, was incorporated in accordance with the Commercial Companies Law of February 22, 1998. The company is registered under No. 72518 in the commercial register.

On July 28, 2007, Kout Food was listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange. However, on April 31, 2015, the Board of Directors approved the voluntary delisting of the company. This decision was ratified by the shareholders in an Extraordinary General Assembly on June 10, 2015. Following the approval, the company applied for delisting on September 2, 2015, and the Kuwait Stock Exchange officially delisted Kout Food on March 8, 2016.
Initially, Kout Food had a capital of KD 6,783,267. In an Extraordinary General Assembly on April 25, 2019, the shareholders approved a reduction in the company's capital to KD 6,760,567. This reduction was achieved by canceling 227,000 treasury shares owned by the company.
As per the annual financial report for the year ended December 31, 2021, Kout Food's current authorized, issued, and fully paid-up capital is KD 6,760,567. The capital is divided among 67,605,670 shares with a nominal value of 100 fils each, all fully paid in cash.
