Established on June 16, 1993, Wafra International Investment Company - K.S.C. (c) is a closed Kuwaiti shareholding company registered under No. 51470 in the commercial register and subject to the Companies Law No. 1 of 2016. The company operates under the supervision of the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Capital Markets Authority as an investment company, managing a diverse range of portfolios and investment funds. By the end of 2018, the total value of portfolios and managed investment funds reached approximately KD 1.66 billion. 

As per the Company's annual financial report for the financial year ended December 31, 2020, Wafra International Investment has an authorized issued and fully paid up capital of KD 15 million distributed over 150 million shares with a nominal value of 100 fils per share, all of which are cash.
