• Owning shares of Kuwaiti or foreign joint stock companies, as well as owning shares or stakes in Kuwaiti, foreign, or foreign limited liability companies, or participating in establishing these companies of both types, managing them, and lending and guaranteeing them to others.
• Lending to companies in which it owns shares and guaranteeing them with third parties, in which case the holding company’s participation in the borrowing company’s capital must not be less than 20% at least.
• Owning industrial property rights such as patents, industrial trademarks, industrial drawings, or any other related rights, and leasing them to other companies to exploit them, whether inside or outside Kuwait.
• Owning movables and real estate necessary to conduct its activity within the limits permitted in accordance with the law.
• Utilizing the financial surplus available to the company by investing them in portfolios managed by specialized companies and entities.

The company may conduct the business in the State of Kuwait and abroad in an original or proxy capacity.

The company may have an interest or participate in any way with the bodies that carry out activities like its work or that may assist it in achieving its objectives in Kuwait or abroad, and it may establish, participate in or buy these bodies or join them.

Gulf Energy Holding Company was initially founded on February 14, 2000 as a limited partnership company named High-End Projects General Trading - Abdulaziz & Partner. On August 2, 2006, the legal structure of the company was converted from a simple partnership to a closed Kuwaiti shareholding company, rebranded as Gulf Energy Holding Company.

Company Capital:
The authorized, issued, and fully paid-up capital of Gulf Energy Holding Company, as disclosed in the annual financial report for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2022, amounts to KD 30 million (thirty million Kuwaiti Dinars). This capital is divided among 300 million shares valued at 100 fils each, all of which are fully paid in cash.
