Company purpose

- Own, sell, purchase and develop real estate properties and land plots on the Company’s behalf and for third parties, in Kuwait and abroad. Provide property management services for third parties within the limits set by the applicable laws without violating the ban imposed on trading in private housing plots.

- Own, sell and purchase shares and bonds issued by real estate companies on the company's behalf only in Kuwait and abroad.

- Prepare studies and provide advisory services in various fields within the real estate sector provided that the service provider fulfils all required conditions.  

- Provide maintenance services for buildings and real estate properties owned by the company and third parties, including various types of maintenance work such as civil, mechanical, electrical, elevators and air conditioning works to ensure the building maintenance and safety.

- Manage, operate, invest, rent and lease hotels, clubs, motels, guest houses, rest houses, parks, galleries, restaurants, cafeterias, residential complexes, touristic and health resorts, recreational and sports projects, recreational facilities, public places, shops and stores of different types and levels including the provision of main services and support as well as any other related services providing compliance to Sharia controls.

- Organize real estate exhibitions in line with the regulations stipulated by the ministry.

- Own and manage commercial and residential complexes.

- Utilize the Company's surplus to invest it in financial portfolios managed by specialized companies that follow Islamic Sharia principles.  

- Directly contribute in laying down the infrastructural foundation for residential, commercial and industrial zones based on Build, Operate, and Transfer (B.O.T.) system and BOT property management. The Company conducts all its activities in accordance with the principles of Islamic Sharia guidelines. In no case shall any of the above stated purposes be construed as authorizing the Company to carry out any acts of Riba, directly or indirectly, or any activities conflicting with Islamic Sharia guidelines.

- The Company may carry out the above-stated objectives on its behalf or on behalf of third parties in Kuwait and abroad. The Company may have an interest with entities that carry out businesses similar to its own or that may be conducive in accomplishing its objectives, and it may buy, participate in, associate with or merge with such entities in the State of Kuwait or abroad.

Al-Waseela Development Projects Company K.S.C. (Closed)  was established  as a Kuwaiti Closed Shareholding Company pursuant to Memorandum of Incorporation number 1435, Volume 4  registered at the Real Estate and Authentication Department at the Ministry of Justice on 20 January 1984 and its amendments, the latest of which was recorded on 3 April 2005 as entry number 2652 volume (1). The Company is subject to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry control. Its capital was set at KWD 32,658,228 divided into 326,582,280 shares, at 100 fils per share, all of which are cash shares.

Al-Waseela Development Projects Company seeks to establish distinctively professional projects in the GCC to fill the growing need for business incubators due to the following factors:

- Increased number of young adults seeking employment in the GCC region.

- The governmental sector provides employment for a huge number of youths that far exceeds its actual needs.

- Business incubators are an integral pillar in tackling unemployment problems as they provide the labour force with the required qualifications needed to productively participate in the private sector and assist those seeking self-employment.

Key Projects:

Industrial Occupational Complex

It consists of 12 specialized units and equipped with the necessary machinery and equipment as required to operate the various activities provided by the Company. The Company provide the facility for users free of charge. These units serve about 480 small workshops dedicated to craftsmen, including all services, stores and observation rooms. The complex provides 480 trade showrooms for the workshop owners in addition to 240 primary exhibitions. The industrial complex also includes a training institute, restaurants, cafeterias, kids play areas, prayer room, washrooms and other facilities. This complex is represented on the blueprints from A to E, in addition to a mosque, roads and parking area.
