MENA Real Estate Company issued a statement regarding the lawsuit involving Rasmal Holding Company (a subsidiary) and Financial Brokerage Company (KFIC Brokerage) concerning a financial claim, according to Boursa Kuwait on Wednesday.
MENA Real Estate stated that with reference to the ruling issued by the Court of Appeal obligating Capital Holding Company (a subsidiary) to pay an amount of 6,615,475 Kuwaiti Dinars, the Court of Cassation — after accepting the appeal submitted by Capital Holding in the deliberation chamber — decided on October 14, 2025, to reserve the case for judgment in the session scheduled for October 21, 2025.
The company noted that it is important to clarify that the Court of Cassation has suspended the enforcement of the ruling. Additionally, the Public Prosecution's opinion to the Court of Cassation indicated that the judgment is void due to a violation of public order.
MENA further stated:
"It is also worth noting that this lawsuit is related to Criminal Case No. 49/2023 (Capital Markets), which is currently under review before the Capital Markets Criminal Court."
