The Extraordinary General Assembly of United Building Company, held on May 27, 2025, approved amendments to Article (5) of the Memorandum of Association and Article (4) of the Articles of Association relating to the company’s objectives. The revised objectives include the following:
- Construction of buildings
- General construction of residential and non-residential buildings
- Renovation of residential and non-residential buildings
- Building maintenance services
- Construction and repair of roads, streets, pavements, and related infrastructure
- Maintenance and repair of air conditioning, cooling, and air purification systems
- Investment of financial returns through portfolios managed by specialized companies and entities
The company may carry out these activities both inside and outside Kuwait, either directly or through agencies. It may also have an interest in, or participate in any manner with, entities that engage in similar activities or that may support the company in achieving its objectives, whether in Kuwait or abroad. Furthermore, the company may establish, partner with, acquire, or affiliate with such entities.
