The Competition Protection Agency (CPA) announced that it has received two requests from Mustaqbal Kuwait Holding Company (K.S.C.) and OTC 324 Universes Group United Holding Group (K.S.C.) for approval to complete the economic concentration process, as both companies submitted a request for Mustaqbal Kuwait Holding to acquire 70% of the shares of Universes Group United Holding Group.

According to Law No. (72) of 2020 regarding Competition Protection and Article (83) of its executive regulations issued by Decision No. (14) of 2021 and its amendments, which states that "any interested party may submit a reasoned objection to the Authority regarding the economic concentration request within a period not exceeding (15) fifteen days from the date of notification or publication...".

The Authority called on all interested parties to submit their reasoned objections to this economic concentration within a period not exceeding fifteen days from today, Sunday, May 18, 2025.
