The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) issued Decision No. (89) of 2025 regarding the rejection of the renewal of the securities activities license for the Massaleh investment Company to conduct the activity of investment portfolio manager, as the company lacks the required capability and competence to engage in the licensed securities activities.
The company will be obliged to return clients' funds and assets to them or to those connected with their management or custody within one year from the date of this decision.
Additionally, the company must provide the Authority with a monthly report from the date of this decision regarding the termination of the company's operations concerning clients' funds and assets until the completion of the handover process.
The company will also fulfill all legal obligations stipulated by Law No. (7) of 2010 regarding the establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and the regulation of securities activities and its executive regulations and amendments, covering the period preceding the enforcement of this decision.
