Gulf Insurance Company (Takaful) has invited its shareholders to attend the ordinary general assembly meeting, which is scheduled to be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at its headquarters.

The meeting will discuss and approve the agenda items for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.

The main agenda item is the discussion and approval of a bonus distribution for the Board of Directors amounting to KWD 35,000 for the fiscal year 2024, subject to approval by the relevant regulatory authorities.

Other agenda items include the approval of the Board of Directors' reports, the Shariah Supervisory Board, and the auditor's report, in addition to the approval of the consolidated annual financial statements, the governance report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, and the discussion of approving the report on related party transactions that have been or will be conducted.
The meeting will also address the approval of any violations and penalties issued by the relevant regulatory authorities, if any.

The assembly will also consider the discharge of the Board of Directors' liability, approving its authorization to conclude all necessary agreements with local and foreign banks and financial institutions to finance the company's operations, deal with banks, and enter financing contracts. Additionally, the appointment or reappointment of the external auditor and the Shariah Supervisory Board for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, and the determination of their fees will be discussed.

Finally, the meeting will approve the agency and speculative percentages determined by the Board of Directors.
