Court of Appeals Ruling in Favor of "Arabi EnerTech" Against "Kuwait Oil"

Arabi Holding Group announced, in a statement to the Boursa Kuwait on Wednesday, the issuance of a court of appeals ruling in favor of its subsidiary, Arabi EnerTech, in its lawsuit against Kuwait Oil Company. The lawsuit pertains to appointing an expert to settle accounts between the two parties and to calculate the amounts owed related to contract work.

The appellate ruling accepted both appeals in form and modified the original judgment, ordering the defendant company, "Kuwait Oil," in the first appeal numbered 1141 for the year 2024, to pay the appellant company, "Arabi Energy," an amount of K.D. 685,198.266 (six hundred eighty-five thousand one hundred ninety-eight Kuwaiti Dinars and 266 Fils only) to bring the total amount to K.D. 1,019,908.425 (one million nineteen thousand nine hundred eight Kuwaiti Dinars and 425 Fils).

The defendant company was also ordered to cover the appropriate costs of the first appeal and its second appeal, along with a fee of KWD 500 for actual legal expenses.
Arabian Holding noted that the financial impact will be determined after receiving the amount mentioned in the appellate ruling.
