The extraordinary general assembly of KIB Invest Company held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, approved amendments to Article (6) of its Articles of Incorporation and association.

 This amendment does not violate the provisions of Decree Law No. 1 of 2016, its amendments, and its executive regulations. The objectives for which the company was established are as follows:

•    Investment portfolio management.
•    Collective investment scheme management.
•    Investment consultancy.
•    Underwriting agent.
•    Custodian.
•    Unregistered securities broker on the stock exchange.
•    Buying and selling lands and real estate for the company only.
•    Owning real estate and movable property for the company's benefit.
•    Buying and selling stocks and bonds for the company.

The company may carry out the aforementioned activities in Kuwait and abroad, either in its own name or through agents. The company can have interests in or collaborate in any manner with entities that engage in activities similar to its own or that may assist it in achieving its objectives, in Kuwait or abroad, and it can establish, participate in, or acquire these entities, provided this is in accordance with Sharia law.

The assembly also approved an amendment to Article (44) of its bylaws, which now states: “The Board of Directors has the broadest authorities to manage the company and conduct all activities necessary for the management of the company in accordance with its objectives, and this authority shall not be limited except as stipulated by law, this bylaw, or the decisions of the general assembly. The Board of Directors may sell or mortgage the company's properties, provide guarantees, enter into loans, make donations, and engage in settlements and arbitration.”
