The Extraordinary General Assembly of Al-Marar Holding Company, held on February 20, 2025, approved the alignment of its activities according to international classification. 

The assembly agreed to amend Article (6) of the Articles of Incorporation and Article (4) of its articles of association as follows: 
- financing or lending to companies in which it holds shares or interests.
- guaranteeing them with third parties, on condition that the holding company's share in the capital of the borrowing company must not be less than 20%. 
- It also includes owning intellectual property rights such as patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and franchises.
- utilizing and leasing them to its subsidiaries and others. 
- The company may own the real estate and movable properties necessary to carry out its work within the limits permitted by law.
- The company can hold shares on behalf of the holding company only, invest its funds in trading in stocks, bonds, and securities, as well as buy and sell stocks and bonds for its account and manage its subsidiaries or participate in managing the companies it invests in to provide the necessary support.
- The company shall have the right to carry out the activities in Kuwait and abroad, either in its name or through an agent. 
- It may also have an interest in or cooperate with entities engaged in activities similar to its own, which may assist it in achieving its objectives in Kuwait or abroad, and it is permitted to establish, participate in, or acquire these entities or affiliate them with itself, pending the approval of the competent authorities.
