During his current visit to the country, Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khateeb, met with a delegation from Aref Investment Group.
The meeting focused on investment opportunities and prospects in the Egyptian market, as well as the company's present and future projects in Egypt.
In this context, the minister noted that the meeting reviewed the company's investments in Egypt, which amount to 120 million dollars. He highlighted the company's interest in expanding into the Egyptian market in sectors such as education, healthcare, industry, and logistics services.
El-Khateeb added that the meeting discussed the investment opportunities available in Egypt, as well as the measures and procedures currently being adopted by the Egyptian government related to financial, monetary, and trade policy reforms aimed at facilitating investor activities and streamlining external trade for Egypt.
He emphasized the ministry's commitment to attracting more Kuwaiti investments into the Egyptian market and increasing trade rates between the two countries.
The minister explained that the ministry is working to create a more competitive and attractive investment climate for both local and foreign investors by providing a supportive institutional and legislative environment, improving the business climate, simplifying procedures, and removing obstacles faced by investors.
For their part, the delegation from Aref Investment Group emphasized the group's commitment to investing and expanding in the Egyptian market, recognizing it as one of the most important investment markets in the region, with several exceptional investment opportunities that align with the company's current investment directives.
