The Commercial Real Estate Company) Al Tijaria) has announced that its subsidiary, Al-Salmiya Group for Enterprise Development Co., has received approval from the Municipal Council to develop the "Al-Salmiya Boulevard" park. 

The project aims to increase the total built area in the park from 12.5% to 20%, amounting to 70,705 square meters designated for recreational and commercial facilities.
In this context, Eng. Abdul-Mutalib Al-Ma'rafi, CEO of The Commercial Real Estate Company) Al Tijaria), stated: "Through this expansion, we aim to enhance the position of the boulevard as a leading destination for entertainment and shopping in Kuwait, providing an unprecedented experience for visitors, making it the ideal destination for all family members."

He emphasized that the project focuses on elevating the level of services provided and boosting the national economy by creating new job opportunities and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

Al-Ma'rafi pointed out that 10% of the new expansion will include a variety of recreational activities, including a cinema, theater, health club, sports field, art gallery, gaming halls, museum, as well as an ice-skating rink.

He added that the executive management is currently working to finalize the necessary contractual procedures with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources, as well as selecting the appropriate engineering office to begin the design phase, taking into consideration the distinctive architectural form of the project and ensuring the integration of new buildings with the existing design of the park, which enhances and reflects the unique architectural identity of the site. The new expansion will also include the development of green spaces to enhance the park’s natural beauty.
