The Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Company (HEISCO) announced in a statement to the Boursa Kuwait yesterday that a tender has been awarded to its subsidiary, Gulf Dredging & General Contracting Company for a total value of KWD 17,375,000 (seventeen million three hundred seventy-five thousand Kuwaiti dinars), in favor of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).

HEISCO added that the Board of Directors of the Central Agency for Public Tenders has approved the award of tender number (2186/CA/CPC) to the subsidiary, which submitted the second-lowest bid. 

The tender pertains to the supply and installation of new security gates at the Abdullah Port and Ahmadi Refinery.
