The Gulf Investment House announced that the first-degree ruling in favor of its subsidiary, Afkar Holding Company, has been issued in the lawsuit filed by Jabila Holding against the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in his capacity, Afaq Holding, and others. Jabila Holding sought to annul the general assembly meeting of Afaq that was held on June 20, 2023.
The ruling issued from the commercial court rejected the lawsuit and ordered the plaintiff, Jabila Holding, to pay the expenses and a fee of 20 Kuwaiti Dinars for actual legal fees.
Gulf Investment House clarified that there is no impact on the company's financial position because of this lawsuit.
