The Court of Appeals issued a ruling in favor of Gulf Investment House in a lawsuit, for the appointment of an expert filed by The Investment Dar Company , the appellant is The Investment Dar, which had filed a legal case against it requesting the appointment of an expert regarding the invalidation of an official documented debt, No. 3415 Volume/6 of the year 2011, in favor of Gulf Investment House.
The company clarified that the representatives of The Investment Dar are the trustees of the bankruptcy of the company, including (Ali Awid Rakhis, Ahmed Daij Al-Daij, and Hanadi Hamoud Fahd Al-Bader.
The lawsuit was filed against Gulf Investment and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for Real Estate Notarization and Documentation, in their official capacity, as well as the Director of the Execution Department at the Ministry of Justice.
The court ruled to accept the appeal form and, on its merits, rejected it, thereby upholding the contested ruling. The appellants were ordered to bear the costs and pay an amount of KWD 300 for attorney fees.
The first-instance ruling had previously rejected the lawsuit and obligated the plaintiff to pay the costs along with an amount of 20 for attorney fees.
