As part of its commitment to engage in the digital transformation landscape strategically and sustainably in Kuwait and to adopt the latest practices in comprehensive digital transformation, the Kuwait Credit Information Network Company (CINet) participated in the Third Kuwait Digital Transformation Conference, which took place on December 2 and 3 at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Resort. 

The conference was sponsored by The Central Agency for Information Technology and In presence of a distinguished group of experts and speakers from various financial, investment, banking, insurance, and education sectors in Kuwait and the region.

Representing CINet as the chair of the third edition of the conference, the CEO Mai Al-Owaish praised the collaboration and contributions of both public and private sector institutions in intensifying efforts and projects for digital transformation in Kuwait. She stated that "the presence of everyone at this conference is a clear embodiment of cooperation and a practical application of discussing how to shape the digital transformation landscape in Kuwait."

Al-Owaish emphasized that for digital transformation to be effective and successful, it must be centered around human elements—both users and those responsible for technological solutions.
During her participation in one of the panel discussions titled "Kuwait's Digital Leap - Towards Providing Services That Meet the Needs and Aspirations of Citizens Through Digital Transformation," Al-Owaish highlighted the importance of adapting technology to serve the local community's specific needs, noting that imported technological solutions do not necessarily fit local requirements.

She added, "At CINet, we are committed to adopting major projects and initiatives for digital transformation to empower our partners and clients in making informed funding decisions, thereby reducing the risks associated with financing operations and contributing to building a robust local economy that supports Kuwait's vision of becoming a regional and global financial and commercial hub by 2035."

Al-Owaish also underscored the importance of developing Kuwaiti talent and enabling them to build and maintain these modern systems within public and private sector institutions in Kuwait.
