Al-Safat Holding Company announced in a statement to the Boursa Kuwait on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, that Al-Safat Holding, one of its subsidiaries owned at 99%, has obtained a first instance ruling in its favor in case number 5408 / 2024 Commercial Civil Full Courts / 6.
In this ruling, the court declared the previous sale contract of shares made between the subsidiary and the second defendant on May 30, 2007, null and void. The court ordered the second defendant to pay Al-Safat Holding the amount of 2,880,000 KWD (two million, eight hundred eighty thousand Kuwaiti Dinars), as well as covering the costs and attorney's fees.
