The Extraordinary General Assembly of OTC 980 Shorouk Pack Company for Packaging Materials and Plastic Cards (Deferred) held on August 5, 2024, approved amending Article (5) of the Articles of incorporation and Article No. (4) of its Articles of Association to become as follows: 

The company was established for various purposes, including packaging and filling, printing, and managing export and import operations. It also aims to utilize the company's available financial surpluses by investing in financial portfolios managed by specialized entities, as well as buying and selling shares and bonds on behalf of the company. 

 And it approved amending some articles of the Articles of incorporation and the Articles of Association of the company, including amending Article No. (54) to become as follows:  

The provisions of Companies Law No. 1 of 2016 and its executive regulations, shall apply to everything for which no specific text is provided in the Articles of Association or in this system. 

The company also approved the sale of the entire project for which it was established in the Subhan Industrial Area, either as a single transaction or by dividing it among multiple parties, at a minimum price of KD 1.5 million. To facilitate this process, the company is authorized to empower the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Vice Chairman, or any Board member to execute and finalize the sale, engage with all relevant parties, and handle the necessary documentation and signing required to implement this authorization. n.
