Watani Investment Company has informed its shareholders that Capital Markets Authority has approved the draft merger contract for the annexation of Watani Investment Company and Watani Financial Brokerage Company (WFBC).
 
In this merger, Watani Investment Company will serve as the merging entity, while Watani Financial Brokerage Company will be the merged entity.
 
Watani Investment Company clarified that the merger is contingent upon the approval of the extraordinary general assemblies of both companies. The date for these assemblies will be announced later, following the completion of all necessary regulatory procedures and approvals.

It indicated that the necessary legal disclosures will be made in accordance with the provisions of the executive regulations of Law No. (7) of 2010 and its amendments.

The company noted that the draft merger contract and its appendices will be available for review by shareholders of the companies at its headquarters and through the website of each of the companies involved in the merger process.
