Watani Financial Brokerage Company - WFBC announced yesterday, Monday, July 29, 2024, to its shareholders that the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has approved the draft merger contract by way of annexation between National Investment Company and Watani Financial Brokerage Company. 

So National Investment Company is the merging company and Watani Brokerage Company is the merged company. 

" Watani Brokerage" explained that the merger process is subject to the approval of the extraordinary general assembly of each of the merging company and the merged company, the date of which will be determined later, after completing the remaining relevant regulatory procedures and the necessary regulatory approvals. 

It indicated that the necessary legal disclosures will be made in accordance with the provisions of the executive regulations of Law No. (7) of 2010 and its amendments. 

The company noted that the draft merger contract and its appendices will be available for review by shareholders of the companies at its headquarters and through the website of each of the companies entering the merger process.
