K-NET launches the “Wamd” service for instant transaction

To reinforce its commitment to improving the electronic banking experience for customers and fostering a societal shift towards embracing digital transformation, The Shared Electronic Banking Services Company "K-NET" has introduced the "Wamd" service. This offering aims to align with advancements in payment technology at both the regional and international levels. 

This service aims to enhance payment system infrastructure to deliver high-quality, efficient products and services that are user-friendly, aligning with modern financial technologies while addressing challenges and opportunities to ensure quality and security. 

  The service is designed to meet users' aspirations and preferences.  

  Issam Al-Khashnam, the company's CEO, unveiled K-NET's launch of a new instant payment service, offering users a unique and unparalleled experience in swift and secure fund transfers between personal bank accounts. 

  Al-Khashnam emphasized that KNET’s strategy revolves around creating a secure and dependable payment ecosystem, reinforcing current infrastructure, establishing new payment systems, and enhancing service efficiency in local and regional markets. 

  Explaining the functionality of the "Wamd" service, Al-Khashnam outlined that it will be integrated into local banks' applications as a payment and transfer option. Both the sender and recipient need to register in the service using their bank account-linked phone numbers. Subsequently, funds can be transferred instantaneously and received promptly at any time.
