The ordinary general meeting of  Future Holding Company took place on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, with a quorum of 81.47%, and all agenda items were approved. 

The key agenda item referred to the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders at a rate of 5% per share based on the previous year's performance, amounting to 5 fills per share for a total sum of KD 850,000. 

It also agreed to elect new board members for the next three-year period, they are Company Holding Times, Al-Manal Holding Company, OTC 705 United Medical Services, Aldahw Capital Holding Company and Mr. Murid Hisham Al-Sultan. 

Walid Al-Saqr, Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors, noted that the company remained committed to executing its strategy aimed at optimizing performance for shareholders and enhancing investments by identifying opportunities with low risks and favorable returns. 

He further mentioned, "Following a thorough assessment, the company successfully capitalized on a market opportunity by acquiring a 24% stake in KFIC Investment Company, turning it into an affiliated entity. We are eager to nurture and expand this investment to yield positive outcomes, particularly as KFIC Investment Company holds a long-standing and prosperous financing firm as well as a brokerage company." 

Al-Saqr also mentioned that the company's total income in 2023 stood at KD 3,156,675, significantly higher than the figure of KD 1,560,203 reported in 2022, representing an increase of KD 1,596,472 or a growth rate of 102%.  The net profits for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2023, totaled 623,360 Kuwaiti dinars, down from KD 1,086,557 in the previous year, reflecting a decrease in value of KD 463,197 or a decline rate of -42.5%. 

The shareholders' equity in 2023 was noted at KD 19.4 million, a decrease from KD 20.24 million, indicating a decline in value of KD 824,486 or a rate of -4%.
