Boursa Kuwait announced in a statement today, Sunday 23rd of June 2024, its approval to cancel the registration of Tharwa Investment Company as a market maker for Al-Argan International Real Estate Company. 

On January 31, 2022, Al-Argan International Real Estate Company announced that it had entered into a market maker agreement with Tharwa Investment Company.  

Boursa confirmed that the cancellation decision will be effective starting from the end of the trading period on Sunday, August 4th, as requested by Tharwa Investment Company.  

A market maker is defined as an individual or an authorized company who is responsible for ensuring the availability of supply and demand for one or more listed securities, in compliance with regulations established or approved by the Capital Markets Authority.
