AlSafat Investment Company and CapCorp Investment Company (OTC 345) have successfully completed their merger through an amalgamation process. In this merger, AlSafat Investment Company became the merging company, while CapCorp Investment Company is now the merged entity. This merger was carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions stated in Module Nine (Mergers and Acquisitions) of Bylaws of Law No. (7) of 2010, which pertains to the establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and regulations concerning securities activities. Additionally, the merger adhered to the Companies Law No. (1) of 2016 and its respective Bylaws, as amended. 
As a result of the merger, the capital of AlSafat Investment Company has increased from KD 28,327,568.800 to KD 38,327,568.800. This increase in capital comprises an in-kind increase of KD 10,000,000, which is equivalent to 35.30% of the total authorized, issued, and paid-up capital. To facilitate this increase, 100,000,000 new shares were issued. The financial impact of this merger will be reflected in the Group's consolidated financial statements for the year ending on December 31, 2023, once the auditing procedures have been completed.
