Tharwa stated that there are a total of 19 companies functioning as market makers, with 11 operating in the main market of Boursa and 8 in the Premier market. Furthermore, Tharwa highlighted that it signed three new agreements during quarter 3 of 2023, involving Mabanee Company, Gulf Group for Cables and Electrical Industries Company, and Kuwait Telecommunications Company.

Tharwa currently holds a substantial share among the companies providing market maker services on Boursa Kuwait, having contracts with 35% of main market companies and 7% of premier market companies. It is anticipated that listed companies will increasingly seek market makers, reflecting the market maker's impact on enhancing companies' presence, upgrading them from the main market to the premier market, and boosting liquidity on their shares, which in turn restores confidence among investors.
