Al-Themar International Holding Company held its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Monday, 28 August 2023, through an online platform. During this meeting, in coordination with Kuwait Clearing Company (KCC), and in the presence of shareholders owning 681,353,491 shares, equivalent to 88.164% of the company’s capital, the following decision was reached: Approval of a reduction in the company's capital from KWD 77,282 million to KWD 70 million. This reduction amounts to KWD 7.282 million. The excess amount will be distributed among shareholders, pro rata to their interest in the company’s capital, as of the EGM date. 
The EGM also approved amendments to Article (6) of the Memorandum of Incorporation and Article (5) of its Articles of Association, as follows: "The company's authorized, issued, and paid-up capital was set at KWD 70 million, distributed over 700 million shares, at a nominal value of 100 fils per share and all shares are paid in cash".
