The Competition Protection Authority has announced that it has approved the request for the completion of the economic concentration process, pertaining to the acquisition of Al-Jari Holding Group, a Kuwaiti closed shareholding company, of 100% of the shares of Al-Hayat College Company for Educational Services, which specializes in the establishment of private colleges, provision of training courses aligned with the company's objectives, offering consultations, and engaging in the buying and selling of educational devices and tools specifically for colleges.
Furthermore, it was explained that this action is in compliance with Law No. (72) of 2020, which pertains to competition protection, as well as Article (83) of its executive regulations outlined in Board of Directors' Decision No. (14) of 2021. The article explicitly states that any concerned party has the right to raise a substantive objection to the request for economic concentration within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of notification or publication.
