Al-Mulla International Exchange Company held its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 9 May 2023, at its headquarters. During the EGM, shareholders agreed to increase the company’s authorized, issued, and fully paid-up capital of. The capital was raised from KWD 17.350 million to KWD 17.600 million. This increase was achieved by distributing bonus shares to the existing shareholders at a rate of 1.4% of the capital. The total value of the distributed bonus shares amounted to KWD 250,000. The distribution was made to shareholders registered in the company's records as of the EGM date. The Board of Directors was also authorized to handle any fractional shares resulting from the distribution.
Furthermore, during the EGM, shareholders of Al-Mulla International Exchange Company approved amending Article (6) of the Memorandum of Incorporation and Article (5) of the Articles of Association. The amendments resulted in the authorized, issued, and fully paid-up capital of the company being set at KWD 17.6 million, distributed over 176 million shares, at a nominal value of 100 fils per share, and all shares are to be paid in cash.
