In a statement to Boursa Kuwait, Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company (HEISCO) announced that its subsidiary, Gulf Construction, Marine Works & General Contracting Company, has received a direct award notification from the main contractor for the new refinery project - (Package 5) of Al-Zour New Refinery.

The contract entails the execution of dismantling and renovation activities for the temporary berth, with a value of KWD 1,454,488. This project will be carried out for Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) over a period of 4 months. It is worth noting that any operating profits resulting from this contract will be reflected in the financial statements for 2023.
