Future Communications Company will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year ended 31 December 2022, on Wednesday,  24 May 2023 at Sharq, Ahmed Al Jaber Street - Al Awadhi Towers (3) Sixth Floor to discuss the Board of Directors' recommendation to distribute 25% cash dividend of the nominal value of the share, equivalent to 25 fils per share, for an aggregate amount of KWD 246,781 after deducting the treasury shares, to the shareholders registered in the company’s records as of the AGM date, subject to receiving regulatory approvals. 

The AGM will also discuss and approve the reports issued by the Board of Directors and the auditors, as well as the financial statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2022. Moreover, the AGM will hear the reports of the violations and penalties monitored by the regulatory authorities and the transactions that have taken place or will take place with related parties, and authorize the Board of Directors to buy or sell the company’s up to 10% of the company’s shares, in addition to discussing absolving board members from any legal, financial and administrative actions for the financial year ended 31 December  2022, and appointing or reappointing the auditors for the financial year ending 31 December 2023 and authorizing the Board of Directors to determine their fees.

The Company's board of directors advised shareholders that in the event that the 50% quorum required by company was not met, the postponed meeting will be held on Wednesday, 31 May 2023, at the same time and venue. It was also clarified that the postponed meeting will be deemed legally valid regardless of the number of attendees.
