The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) issued Resolution No. (64) of 2023 regarding renewal of the Securities Activities License of Gulf Custody Company.

CMA renewed the company’s securities activities license for practicing the activity of Investment Controller for three renewable years as of 20 July 2023.

CMA highlighted that it has issued this resolution pursuant to Law No. (7) of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments, the securities activities license certificate of Gulf Custody Company No. (AP/2017/0011) issued on 20 July 2020, the application submitted by Gulf Custody Company to renew the securities activities license at the CMA, and based on Resolution No. (24) of 2023 regarding amending the approval authorizations of the Supervision Sector’s procedures issued on 12 July 2023.

CMA advised the concerned bodies to execute this resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This resolution shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
