The verdict issued by the Court of First Instance, commercial division, to reject the lawsuit filed by Arabi Enertech, a subsidiary of Arabi Group Holding, and ordered the company to pay KWD 100 in attorneys’ fees. In a statement issued to Boursa Kuwait by Arabi Holding Group today, Wednesday, the Company reported that the Court of Appeal issued its verdict in the case filed requesting the assignment of an expert, ruling on what will result in the expert's report, and addressing the onerous obligations related to the termination of agreement No. 024 / MP / REF / CZ for the Engineering, Procurement & Back-up Construction and Standby Service contract of Al-Zour Refinery Project. In addition to ordering the Company to cover the expenditures and to pay KWD 20, the court dismissed the case and affirmed the judgement given by the Court of First Instance. The Company will submit an appeal motion to contest that verdict. Arabi Group indicated that the verdict's impact would be assessed once the court rules on the submitted motion.
