The real estate auction organized by REAM Real Estate Company brough in KWD 43.67 million in proceeds as a result of selling 3 out of 6 commercial properties, a gain of KWD 925,000 over their initial value of KWD 42,745 million. The auction, which was held on Monday evening for the benefit of a customer, witnessed a total increase in the sales value by 2.16%, as the Liwan Commercial Complex located in Eqaila was sold at KWD 30.410 million, up by 1.3% over the initial price of KWD 30.020 million. Furthermore, Al-Haramain Complex in Al-Jahra was also sold at a KWD 9.510 million, up by 3% over the initial price of KWD 9.225 million. The auction also witnessed the sale of the Faria Complex, located in Hawalli, at KWD 3.750 million, up by 7.14% from the initial price of KWD 3.50 million. Meanwhile, there was no interest in the purchase of Star Tower, a property located in Mirqab, which was listed at an initial price of KWD 10.40 million. Similarly, there was no bidding on Al Ostoura Complex in Farwaniya, which was listed at an initial price of KWD 5.8 million. Finally, the auction wasn’t successful in selling Al-Hoor complex in Fahaheel, at an initial price of KWD 5.50 million.
