The Ministry of Commerce and Industry advised the shareholders of REAM Real Estate Company that an Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held pursuant to Article (297) of the Companies Law No. 1 of 2016 and its executive regulations. The AGM will be held on Thursday, 22 December 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the meeting hall. 1st Floor, Ministry of Commerce and Industry building, Ministries Complex, Block 2, to discuss the violations issued against the company and to accept the resignation of the board members, namely: Walid Issa Al-Thaqeb, Khaled Abdel-Rida Karam, Deyaar Real Estate Company, in addition to electing complementary members. The Ministry invited shareholders interested in attending the AGM in person or through their representatives to visit Kuwait Clearing Company’s headquarters along with proof of share ownership to receive AGM attendance cards or the power of attorney form. It also clarified that, in case of lack of quorum, the postponed AGM will be held on Thursday, 29 December 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the same headquarters.
