The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) issued Resolution No. (178) of 2022 Regarding Renewal of the Securities Activities License of Tharwa Investment Company for practicing the activity of Market Maker.
Moreover, CMA stated that the license is valid for three renewable years as of 2 February 2023. 
This resolution was issued pursuant to Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments, and having reviewed the securities activities license certificate of Tharwa Investment Company No. (AP/2020/0002) issued on 2 February 2020.
It was also based on Resolution No. (141) of 2022 regarding amending the approval authorizations of the Supervision Sector’s procedures issued on 4 September 2022.
CMA directed the concerned bodies to execute this resolution, each within its jurisdiction, adding that it shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and that it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
