The Capital Markets Authority announced the issuance of the Disciplinary Board’s resolution in its session held on Tuesday, 5 July 2022, regarding the violation listed No. (2022/43 Disciplinary Board) (2022/25 Authority) and the issuance of a warning against Al-Bareeq Holding Company for violating the rules of disclosure and transparency.

This penalty resulted from the Company’s violation of the provision of Clause No. (2) of Article (3-5-1) of the Module Ten (Disclosure and Transparency) of the Executive Bylaws of Law No. 7 of 2010 and their amendments, as Al-Bareeq Holding Company didn’t comply with the direction to update the insiders watch list pursuant to Appendix (5) "Insiders Watch List and its Update" within the legal deadline of 5 business days, as there was a change in the list of insiders effective 10 June 2021, and the company did not update its list until 23 January 2022.

The resolution included the imposition of the following penalty: Warning Al-Bareeq Holding Company of the consequences of repeating the violation.
