Kuwait Pillars Financial Investment Company held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 25, with a quorum of 91.197% of its shareholders. The AGM passed all items listed on its agenda.
The company achieved a net profit of KWD 3.521 million in 2021, compared to incurring a loss of KWD 5.07 million in 2020, an increase of 169%, thanks to the exceptional performance of the associate company, in addition to higher income of the company’s investment portfolio. The company's assets grew by 16% to reach KWD 43.7 million, and shareholders' equity also grew to KWD 34.4 million for the year. The AGM passed a resolution approving the distribution of 5% (5 fils per share) cash dividends for the financial year ended 31 December 2021.
