On Sunday, December 24, 2023, the Extraordinary General Assembly of Kuwait Medical Center Company approved the amendment of Article (14) of its Articles of Association. The new provision states that the company will be governed by a five-member board of directors. The membership term will be three years, with the option for renewal, and members of the board will be elected by the shareholders through a secret vote. In the event that a new board of directors cannot be elected on the designated date, the existing board will continue to manage the company's operations until the circumstances permitting the election of a new board are resolved.
