The Competition Protection Agency announced that Al-Safat Investment Company submitted a request to receive approval to finalize the economic concentration process, by merging Al-Safat Investment Company (the merging entity) with Cap Corp Investment Company (the merged entity) through amalgamation, pursuant to Law No. (72) of 2020 regarding Protection of Competition and Article (83) of its executive regulations issued by Board of Directors Resolution No. (14) of 2021, which states that “Every stakeholder may submit to the Agency a reasoned objection to the application for economic concentration within (15) fifteen days from the date of announcement or publication.”
Accordingly, the Competition Protection Agency invited any interested party to express their objection to this economic concentration within a period not exceeding fifteen (15) days from the date of announcement, as published.
