The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) issued Disciplinary Board Resolution No. (2022/73 Disciplinary Board) (2022/66 Authority) imposing a fine of KWD 5,000 against Al-Salam Holding Group for violating the listing rules. The Company did not submit a copy of its financial statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2021 to Boursa Kuwait Company and the Authority within the legal deadline of 90 days, which ended on 31 March 2022. This disciplinary action was issued pursuant to the provisions of Clause (2) of Article (1-15-1) of Module Twelve (Listing Rules) of Law No. 7 of 2010, its Executive Bylaws and their amendments. CMA emphasizes the implementation of CMA Law and its Executive Bylaws on all persons dealing in securities activities and urges them to comply with these rules in order to promote investors' confidence, create a sound investment environment, and implement the Law according to the principles of fairness, transparency, and integrity in line with the best international practices.
