In an initiative aimed at increasing transparency and raising awareness of the market maker’s role, Tharwa Investment Company will periodically disclose on a quarterly basis the operations of its market maker activities.
"Tharwa" said that in the first quarter of this year, it signed six (6) market maker agreements, including: Commercial Real Estate Company, Arzan Financial Group for Financing and Investment, Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Kuwait Real Estate Company, Al-Argan International Real Estate Company, and Combined Group Contracting Company.
As a market maker, "Tharwa Investment" accounted for about 12% of the market's trading activities in the first quarter of 2022, bringing the total of companies that uses Tharwa’s services as a market maker to 19 companies, of which 15 are listed on the Main Market.
The company added that the monthly trading value for the month of February were the highest among the first three months of Tharwa’s activities as a market maker.
Tharwa highlighted that it strives to sign up with several companies in various sectors in the second quarter to benefit the market and traders.
