Public Facilities inks a direct contract with Kuwait Municipality, based on recommendations from the Council of Ministers

Public Facilities Management Company announced its direct contract with Kuwait Municipality, based on recommendations from the Council of Ministers, regarding the delivery and operation of Dasman car park project, which is one of the largest car parks in Kuwait, in addition to being one of the smart parking solutions.
The Company’s CEO, Engineer Saleh Al-Othman, said that this direct contract is the first of its kind, as it was carried out outside the framework of the Ministry of Finance, and based on the directives of the Council of Ministers, praising the cooperation efforts exerted by Kuwait Municipality, headed by Engineer Nadia Al-Shareeda.
Al-Othman added that this constructive cooperation resulted in the operation of Dasman car park project in record time, right after the site was delivered. The parking lot is located in Sharq, behind Dasman Complex, and accommodates 2,300 cars, with an area of 13,000 square meters, as it consists of 6 floors plus a basement. He hoped that ministries, will cooperate with the company’s management in operating the parking lot.
Minimizing traffic congestion
Al-Othman stated that the building will reduce congestion and traffic problems that crowded areas with high-rise commercial towers suffer from, pointing to the car park advantages, in terms of the latest and modern entry and exit systems, as well as its distinguished location, as it is located in the heart of the Capital’s commercial area, in addition to the large area that allows for many parking spaces, in addition to its unique and diverse design.
He pointed out that the Public Facilities Management Company is leading a comprehensive development process, and this development is within an integrated system, a clear philosophy and a specific vision based on the company's strengths. 
Building Operation
Deputy Director General for Projects Sector Affairs in Kuwait Municipality Eng. Nadia Al-Sharideh expressed her gratitude for the concerted efforts to operate the building, and the tangible cooperation from state agencies to operate it to serve the citizens, and the commercial capital, led by the Public Facilities Management Company.
