Refrigeration and Storage Industries Company held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, October 28, 2021, and passed a resolution to amend Article (2) of the Memorandum of Incorporation as follows: The Company’s name is Refrigeration Industries, Storage and Oil Services Company (KSCC).
The EGM also passed a resolution amending Article (5) of the Memorandum of Incorporation related to the company’s objectives as follows:
The objectives for which the company was established are:
-    Establishment of public cooling warehouses in Kuwaiti ports that require such facilities.
-    Lease these warehouses to importers and exporters of frozen food, ice cream, meat, fish and others.
-    Carry out all electrical and mechanical work related to air conditioning and cooling work related to the Company’s objectives.
-    Participate, directly or jointly with others, in industrial processes related to the refrigeration industry.
-    Conduct all transactions and agreements. Perform all actions related to the Company’s objectives as it deems fit. The Company may have an interest with entities that carry out businesses similar to its own or that may be conducive in assisting its objectives, and it may buy or associate with such entities in the State of Kuwait or abroad.
-    Purchase, sale, lease and rental of real estate and land plots required to achieve the Company’s objectives. 
-    Carry out all land transport services related to refrigerated cargo in Kuwait and abroad, in line with the company’s objectives.
-    Import and own various means of land transport and spare parts in accordance with the Company’s objectives.
-    Establishment, completion, management and maintenance of the Company’s warehouses to develop industrial zones and facilitate the exercise of all its activities in accordance with its objectives.
-    Store goods according to the filing system under customs supervision inside or outside the customs areas.
-    Development of industrial zones and facilitate the exercise of all the company’s activities in accordance with its objectives.
-    Carry out all electrical and mechanical work related to air conditioning and cooling work related to the Company’s objectives.
-    Act as agent to represent foreign companies in all work related to storage, air conditioning and refrigeration activities.
-    Carryout computer work including the design of various systems and inventory management.
-    Establishment of integrated laboratories for testing cooling and air conditioning systems. Practice all e-commerce services and related supporting activities.
-    Manufacture various types of insulation materials in accordance with the Company’s objectives.
-    Manufacture, produce, import, and maintain various types of pipes.  Provide transportation services, laying and installing of pipes and carry out oil sector related services and contracts.
-    Carry out and implement all projects related to the company's objectives in general.
-    Carry out all types of activities that is related to the company’s objectives or necessary for it to provide oil sector related services.
-    Provide advisory services in line with  the company's objectives.
