Al-Dhow for Environmental Projects Company held its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Monday, August 30, 2021, and approved the amendment of Article (5) of its Memorandum of Incorporation and Article (4) of its Articles of Association regarding the objectives for which the company was established to reflect the following:
- Carry out all collection and transportation services for garbage, waste and solid and liquid debris and utilizing them in Kuwait and abroad.
- Handle all types of cleaning bids and tenders to provide those services to all entities in Kuwait and abroad.
- Carry out all types of cleaning and environmental protection services and working towards improving the environment from pollution in Kuwait and abroad.
- Import environmental monitoring, control, and measurement devices.
- Carry out demolition works and waste transport.
-The Company may participate with other entities that carry out businesses similar to its own or that may be conducive in accomplishing its objectives, and it may buy, participate in, associate with or merge with such entities in the State of Kuwait or abroad, directly or on behalf of third parties and. It may participate with other entities that carry out businesses similar to its own or that may be conducive in accomplishing its objectives, and it may buy, participate in, associate with or merge with such entities.
- Establish environmental laboratories to carry out all environment related research.
- Establish plants, units or factories to treat waste and convert it from one form to another (subject to receiving the required approvals from the Public Authority for Industry).
- Prepare and provide studies, technical, economic and evaluation advisory services, and studies related to the environment (provided that the conditions required for those who practice this profession are met).
- Own movable assets and real estate properties necessary to carry out the activity within the limits permitted in accordance with the law.
- Establish environmental projects to combat water and air pollution, treat polluted soil, treat oil lakes and other types of marine oil pollution, and treat water pollution.
- Import and trade in materials, supplies and equipment for protecting the environment and treat environmental pollution.
- Utilize the Company's surplus to invest in financial portfolios managed by specialized companies without violating any laws or regulations.
- Supply, install and maintain devices to periodically monitor and measure all types of pollutants.
- Transport and treat plant and animal waste, in addition to recycling and benefiting from it in Kuwait and abroad.
- Oil and industrial advisory services.
- Mechanical and electrical installations related to the company's business.
- Purchase and sell shares and bonds for the company's account.
-The Company may carry out the above-stated objectives on its behalf or on behalf of third parties in Kuwait and abroad. The Company may have an interest with entities that carry out businesses similar to its own or that may be conducive in accomplishing its objectives, and it may buy, participate in, associate with or merge with such entities in the State of Kuwait or abroad.
