Official sources revealed that Public Utilities Management Company (PUMC) submitted a request to the Council of Ministers to re-evaluate the state property contracts managed by the company so that the investment opportunity would allow for a 5-year period free of charge and that payment would start on the sixth year at the new value based on the revenues and expenses calculated over the five-year period. The sources said that the company requested to apply the rules as the Tourism Enterprises Company in calculating the annual contracts. They also added that the value of the company's new lease agreements based on the new proposal will jump by three folds, which will eventually be paid to the state, and in return, the company's overall profit will be less than before.
