Boubyan Capital (the investment arm of Boubyan Bank) announced the appointment of Badria Al-Humaidhi as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in line with the company’s strategy to develop executive management and to meet the requirements of the next stage, through which Boubyan Capital seeks to further develop its operations and expansion in the local market and beyond.
Al-Humaidhi is a major human capital asset in the company, as she joined Boubyan Capital since the early stages of its establishment. She is also considered one of the distinguished female pioneers throughout her career, as she held numerous positions over the past years at Boubyan Capital since joining the company in 2013.
She will assume the responsibilities of the Deputy Chief Executive Officer whose duties require establishing regional and international investment opportunities, developing and executing investment strategies, overseeing investment management products and brokerage services, alongside other responsibilities.
Al- Humaidhi is equipped with more than 18 years of experience in the Investment and Asset Management fields. Throughout her career, she held several senior positions within reputable financial firms namely Global Investment House and NBK Capital.
Al-Humaidhi holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Massachuestts and an Executive MBA from the London Business School. She also attended the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
