Dar Al Salam Takaful Insurance Company announced implementing an advanced plan to provide more competitive services to promote confidence among Takaful insurance sector’s customers, especially as the regulator resumes qualifying additional companies to provide those services. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Daoud Al-Sabah, said that the insurance sector faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which had a ripple effect both on the national and international levels. He indicated that after the company resumed its activities, it developed a plan aimed at promoting its competitive advantage in the market. Al-Daoud pointed out that the Supreme Committee of the Insurance Regulatory Unit at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a resolution to update the list of approved and qualified companies allowed to issue car insurance policies (to cover traffic accidents).
